Itinerary

PICK UP

 ⁠We will pick you up in Hanoi – Sapa – Ninh Binh* – Cat Ba* – Ha Long* (airports included).

•⁠ ⁠The pick up is in a VIP Limousine Bus, VIP Sleeper bus or Sleeper Bus.
•⁠ ⁠This pick up happens the day before the start of the tour.
•⁠ ⁠Pick up is included in the final price.
•⁠ ⁠If you choose to come the day before, we offer the night in our Homestay in Hà Giang.

Schedules availability may vary from city to city & depending on availability.
*Ninh Binh: Pickup at bus office (departure at 6:30pm)
Cat Ba: Pickup at your hotel (departure around 4pm)
Ha Long: Pickup at bus office (departure at 8.20am & 6:30pm)

DAY 1

Mountain Passes & Dong Van
Distance: ~150 km
Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Your adventure begins with breakfast at Infinity Homestay before heading straight into the mountains. The road takes us over Bac Sum Pass and up to Quan Ba Heaven Gate — the first panoramic stop of the journey. From there, we follow Can Ty Pass through Lung Tam, a weaving village known for its handmade textiles, and pause for a traditional lunch in Yen Minh.

The afternoon ride winds past rice terraces, the sweeping curves of Tham Ma Pass, and the iconic 9 Circle Pass. By late day, we arrive in Dong Van to settle into a cozy Hmong homestay. Dinner is a shared, home-cooked meal with stories, laughter, and — for those who want — a taste of the local “happy water.”

DAY 2

Ma Pi Leng & Back to Ha Giang
Distance: ~160 km
Breakfast + Lunch

Day two starts with a highlight: the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most dramatic roads. We’ll stop at key viewpoints along the way — including the M Slope, the emerald Nho Que River, and lively Meo Vac Town. Lunch is served in Mau Due before continuing over Sa Li Pass and past the Twin Fairy Mountains, surrounded by ever-changing rice terraces.

By late afternoon (around 5pm), we’re back in Ha Giang — with time to rest, shower, and catch your onward bus in the evening.

Know before you go

• Tour Itinerary: The date you book is the day of pick-up. The Ha Giang Loop begins the next morning.

• Communication: We will reach out to you through WhatsApp before your pick-up to ensure everything is fine, provide you with guidelines, and answer any questions you might have.

• Our drivers use Honda Winner X 150cc motorbikes. For an additional fee, you can upgrade to a different bike while still riding with an Easy Rider.

• Bags & Storage: Larger luggage can be safely stored at our hostel in Ha Giang. For the ride, bring a small backpack with the essentials you’ll need for 3 days.

• Stays & Meals: Nights are spent in rustic homestays surrounded by rural scenery, offering a glimpse into local life. Meals are homemade and traditional, though dishes are simple and may repeat during the journey.

• Group Size: Each guided group has a maximum of 8 people for a safer and more personal experience.

• Flexibility: The schedule may be altered due to weather, traffic, or other unexpected events.
